The Boston Globe,
Cleveland Plain Dealer,
Woman's World,

Saveur,
and many others.
Why should I use your service?
StatePoint Media will save you time and money during your busy production cycle.
Rather than pay other editorial services and writers when you're in need of content,
you can use any of our stories or games free-of-charge. And our unmatched
assortment of high quality content — from feature stories and special supplements
to Crossword and Sudoku puzzles — can be downloaded in a matter
of seconds for immediate insertion in your print or online publication. Furthermore,
our strict editorial policy delivers stories that provide your readers with tangible
information they can turn into action — StatePoint Media offers news readers
can use, not fluff pieces.
How do I receive your stories and/or puzzles?
All of our content is downloadable from our password-protected, press-only website
(www.statepoint.net) for use in print or online. Additionally, websites can sign up
for automated story or puzzle feeds.
The StatePoint Media website is password-protected to ensure it is used only by
media outlets. A one-time registration is required, however, we assure you that
the limited amount of personal information we gather is kept confidential and not
shared with any third parties.
After you have logged onto the service, individual stories and puzzles can be previewed
prior to actual download. Stories are downloaded to your computer as text files,
making it easy to copy and paste their content into QuarkXPress, InDesign, PageMaker or any
other newspaper production software. Accompanying artwork is available in TIFF format.
You can choose to download a story’s text or artwork separately or together in the
form of a "Zipped" file. Finally, you can choose to save files onto your computer
or open them directly without saving them to your computer.
What do you do with my registration information?
The limited amount of personal information you provide to us at registration (e.g.
newspaper name, contact name, title, email, phone) is kept completely confidential.
StatePoint Media, Inc. is committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information
that you provide to us when using this website and requires registration to ensure
that only qualified journalists from legitimate news organizations are using this
service. We will not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
How can StatePoint Media give away free content?
One way we are able to provide this content free of charge is that we offer Crossword
and Sudoku Puzzles to print publications, which contain sponsorships affixed to each
puzzle grid.
Additionally, we work with various non-profit and for-profit organizations — and
include their experts in some, but not all, of our stories where it makes sense
editorially. They pay us for such inclusion in those stories.
StatePoint Media applies strict editorial rules to our articles and does not issue
product reviews or endorse products. All of our stories feature non-promotional
"news readers can use" and we have final editorial say over our stories.
As such, more than 15,000 newspapers, radio stations, TV stations and magazines have
registered to use our content, due in large part to our editorial integrity and high
quality content.
